Your right, it is the sex that bothers some people. For others it is just anything different that is threatening.
I believe in equality for all, but I am not perfect. I am heterosexual and when I was younger I often thought that gays were "weirdos", especially in my teens and twenties.
I had so much to learn about people, and so many ingrained prejudices from a Christian upbringing to unlearn. Today I am an Atheist an I have? friends of all kinds.

Being gay is just as little a lifestyle as being black is, or having green eyes or being differently? abled. With this word creation, US-Christians try to fight for the conception that being gay is a choice... which more and more people understand IT IS NOT.
